Samsung SGH-X600 is a dual band cameraphone in the standard candy bar format. Among the phone's features are a voice memo recorder, speakerphone for hands-free conversations, MMS and Java enabled, polyphonic ringtones, and support for GPRS and WAP technology.
The X600 has a reasonably sized 128 x 128 pixel resolution display, that supports up to 65,536 colours, and the display can be used to view photos taken with the built in VGA quality digital camera. This camera has a 2x optical zoom lens, which can be rotated through an angle of 180 degrees in order to set the best direction for taking pictures. A seven-step exposure adjustment is provided for different light conditions, and a number of special effects can be applied to the photos you take. There is also a LED flashlight for poor light conditions, and a self-timer for delayed shots.

The MMS capability of the X600 allows you to take pictures with the integrated camera, as well as recording voice clips with the mobile phone's memo recorder, and then to combine these with text into an MMS message to send to your friends who also have a compatible MMS phone.
Two games come preloaded, but as this phone is Java enabled more Java games and other applications may be downloaded as required. Although a large shared memory of 9 MB is available for most of the phone's stored data, an additional 1.2 MB is specially allocated for Java applications.
The GPRS and WAP technology means that the X600 gives you fast access to mobile Internet services, and an “always on” connection. An infrared link enables you to interface wirelessly with a PC or other compatible device and to exchange files.
