Siemens A55 is a dual band candy bar styled mobile phone. The features of the A55 include Internet access, support for EMS messaging, a speakerphone for hands-free use, polyphonic ringtones, and the possibility to change the phone's covers.
The screen is a monochrome display of 101 x 64 pixels, which can reproduce up to 5 lines of text in a choice of two font sizes, as well as providing the other graphics and animations used in the display's presentations of menus and messages. The Siemens A55 can also be customised by the addition of new polyphonic ringtones, pictures and animations, which can be downloaded to the phone over the Internet.
